I adopted a bearded dragon from petco a couple years ago. He had a calcium defeciency and was pretty skinny when I got him. (no the store did not sell him to me like that, he was given to them by an owner who couldn't care for him anymore.)
In these years I've had him his weight has gone up and down but he's always stayed pretty skinny.
He eats like a normal beardie.
He likes him fruit and his spinach. He eats crickets dusted in calcium and mealworms.
And even though he was a year old when I got him, he has never developed fully. He hasn't grown his fat head or anything.

I don't know if there's anything I can do to fatten him up.

He is slightly larger than a purebred beagle, and is red and white with a muscular frame. He is NOT currently neutered, but I am going to be making arrangements to get that done as soon as I can get the money together. If he is adopted before that, I will be asking a $25 rehoming fee for him, to be immediately refunded after he is neutered by his new owner. He is not aggressive in any way in spite of this, which is the reason why his previous owner did not get him neutered.

This is pretty much the perfect dog. He is sweet, affectionate and very patient. He gets along with kids, adults, cats, ferrets and other dogs. He does not bark excessively. He is housebroken and well-mannered. He is approximately two years old. He plays with other dogs but mostly just likes to cuddle with humans.

I took him from his previous owner, who was moving out of state, but it has been a year and I haven't bonded with him at all. I feel bad for ignoring him when I get home from work, but I just don't feel any kind of affection for him. This dog deserves to be with an owner who loves dogs and will dote on him. However, he is not unhappy with me so I am not in a rush to find a new owner for him.

I am posting this ad for a friend of mine. She took in these two New Zealand White bunny sisters when they were just weeks old and they are now around 7 months old. While she has enjoyed them immensely and has spent countless hours enjoying their company, her husband has finally come to the point where he is not happy with having them roaming the yard as they do. After much discussion, she has finally decided to give in to his request that they find another home. She is very sad/frustrated about it but has decided to let them go to save the peace. I wanted to help her place them because I know how hard this is for her.

I met these two bunnies when they first came to her home and have pet sit for her on a couple of week long occasions so I have have come to know what their lifestyle has been. These bunnies have received the best of care but are very independant. They have been caged at night in a large hutch (where they had hay,water, and pellets) and have run free during the day in a larger area and/or free in the yard (surrounded by a concrete block wall of course). They get lots of fresh veggies and water, enjoy hanging out in their sand box, and just enjoying their day to day bunny activities! One of the sisters enjoys digging so just be aware of that. The other one doesn't really - at least not that we have ever seen.

The two sisters will come with their large rabbit hutch, a few assorted supplies and food, and their sand box. The adoption fee is $25.

If you have ANY questions, the owner will be glad to answer them for you. Just contact me, and I will get you her phone number. I now know that they have up to 20 at a time and the gestation period is only 17 days! While I love having them we probably cannot keep that many of them.

They will be born on or around November 15, 2009 and have to stay with mom for about 2 weeks until they are able to fend for themselves. I wanted to try to find good homes for them now because obviously I didn’t plan ahead on the whole researching how many hamster babies I would end up with. They would be ready for a new home by December 14 or maybe sooner depending on how fast they grow.

I’m asking for a $5.00 re homing fee to cover the cost of the food I will have to buy to feed the herd and the bedding for the small farm I’m about to have to set up. I will also give them preventative treatments for wet tail. Hamsters can get something called wet tail which is having loose stools from the stress of moving to new home. Preventative treatments are something the pet stores don't do but having had a bad experience with getting a sick hamster from the pet store I'm going to do it so no one else has to go through it.

They really do make great pets and are inexpensive to care for. On average for food and bedding supplies I spend about $5.00 a month for 3 of them. Nobody has replied so now I am Posting an add to find her an owner. I think that she was either left here or a stray. So she probably isn't spayed and not up to date on her shots. And I was doing some research on teeth because she has a loose tooth and some missing front teeth, and I wasn't able to figure out if shes still loosing her baby teeth or if she is in need of dental work. It basically told me that the only way to find out is to get to a vet. I just want to make sure she goes to a good home so I am just letting you know what I think is her background and whats going on with her. She is very playful, but doesn't play unless someone is playing with her. She likes to find hiding spots to sleep in. Like she sleeps on the top of my kitchen cabinet where nobody can reach her and she likes to lay in my bathroom sinks. lol. I haven't let her outside since I got her, and she doesn't try to go outside. She loves attention and to sit on your lap and relax and be petted. She loves to purr when you pet her. She is very friendly, it only took her a day or two to get completely comfortable here. She definately has her own personality. I would like to keep her, but I can't afford to own any sort of animal. I just moved here about a month ago and I am still looking for a job. I have been calling her Layla. She hasn't learned it yet so you can always change the name. Oh and I don't have a cat carrier. Her name is Lou-Lou. She is healthy, housebroken, spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all her shots.
She is great with other dogs, but would be best placed in a home where she can get all the
love and attention to herself.

SPECIAL NEEDS: Lou-Lou has separation anxiety pretty badly. She is perfectly behaved in the
company of family, but can be destructive when left alone if not crated. For things to work out for
both of you, she will require a great deal of attention, so she'd be best placed in a home with a family
or with someone that is home with her quite a bit, and has time to work with her and to walk her at least
once a day.

I suppose some people are beyond help and find something wrong even with sincere postings. I LOVE ANIMALS and I so hope that more pets get adopted so they can have a chance.

Maybe some breeders were unhappy with me because it conflicted with their business interests...sorry but I don't care what you think of me I only think of the cats and dogs sitting in cages and waiting to find a new home!
